Our Strategic direction for the years 2009 to 2013 in the area of distribution is to ensure that the customers of the Bible Society of Uganda are having their scripture needs met at all times within their localities at an affordable price. We therefore set our attention on variety, wider audience coverage price affordability.
We publish scriptures in various formats including print ,audio,visual and Braille to meet the needs of different people.Since the scriptures are used on a daily basis,they must be of top quality.This ordinarily dictates that we do most of our production outside Uganda.Top quality production comes with a high cost.
In as far as variety is concerned, we considered color, binding formats, fonts styles, size and version. We stocked Scriptures in various colors, varying cover designs including leather, fonts that are more visible, portable sizes and versions (CEV, GNB, KJV, NKJV, NIV etc) to suit different reader needs. We have had a very positive response from our customers who now more or less treat Bible House as a one stop point for all their scriptural needs.
